First of all, I love candles – everything from their fragrance to the warm glow of their light. I have been in the candle business for five years, creating a wide variety of candles from scratch.  One of the best parts of the job is creating different scents and colors. 

I started Folk & Flame to be able to share this fun part of candle making. You put together the colors and fragrances and my associates, and we will take care of the rest (which involves hot wax and is best left to the experts). My associates are also experienced candle makers. Together we have more than 10 years of combined experience. 

Folk & Flame will provide everything you need to create your own unique, eco-friendly candle. We also pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service. We’ll make sure your candle-making experience is fun and memorable. 

Candle making dates back thousands of years. The ancient Egyptians used candles. (It gets pretty dark in those pyramids).  And even though candles are no longer a necessity, we think there’s something comforting about a real flickering flame paired with a fragrance that evokes the sand and sea, the mountain air or a spring meadow. 

Here at Folk & Flame, we believe candles should have personality and meaning. And making them should be a shared experience for the both the young and old.
